Skillshare helped restore hope in the API community when they needed it most.

In 2021, Skillshare launched a powerful campaign during API Heritage Month to recognize the challenges faced by the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community globally. This visually stunning initiative celebrated five talented Skillshare teachers of diverse Asian backgrounds through uniquely commissioned artwork.

I helped amplify this campaign's message and impact by writing a unified narrative across platforms. My contributions included:

• Website and Email Promotion: Crafted banner copy for the Skillshare homepage and email newsletter, amplifying the campaign's message of honor and support.

• Social Engagement: Created organic social posts that extended the campaign's reach, fostered community engagement, and highlighted the commissioned artwork and teacher stories.

• Teacher Spotlights Promotion: Wrote promo content that highlighted individual stories, experiences, and artistic journeys of the featured Skillshare teachers.
